Page Rules For Redirects

Sometimes you need a webpage to be somewhere else. It’s important to keep the OLD address to the page functioning so users with bookmarks, and Google find the new location.

We use Cloudflare as a layer to provide speed and protection of all our websites, and this video shows you how to create a redirection using Page Rules.

Here are some steps to follow:

  1. Click on “Page Rules”
  2. Click “Create Page Rule”
  3. Type *://urlofthewebsite.com*
  4. Click “Add a Setting”
  5. Choose “Forwarding” from the list
  6. Click “Select Status Code” and choose “301 – Permanent Redirect”
  7. Then type the new url in the box
  8. Click “Save & Deploy”
